Robotics Engineer

This position is on the very exciting and technically challenging Automation Systems Development team. This team is responsible for developing and demonstrating automation technologies, which are often used in conjunction with information systems, remote control, and control systems.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Robotic Operating System (ROS)
- Robotics experience
- Ground robot experience
- 5+ years of post graduate experience in software design/architecture and strong coding skills in an object-oriented codebase (C++, C#) (ability to understand existing code, write new code, modify, and debug)
- Strong object-oriented design skills (ability to understand the big picture and contribute to architecture design)
- Experience with multi-threaded application(s) development and debugging
- Ability to convert pseudo code algorithms into fully integrable code modules
- Development experience in Linux
- Development for x86 architecture
