Robotics Engineer

A large Industrial Manufacture in Southeast IA is looking for a Robotic Programmer for a long term contract. Candidate will have 2-3 years experience setting up welding robots and manually touching up points. Candidate should have experience calculating feeds and speeds required for milling and drilling and knowledge of tooling to determine the best machining method. This is a long term contract.Per-diem is available for right candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain information for new and existing parts that support NPD projects, ECO releases, and current production parts that support the assigned completion date
- Assist with research and selection of capital equipment purchases under the direction of a manufacturing engineer
- Designing fixtures and verifying the process produces parts that meet design requirements

REQUIREMENTS

- 2-3 years manually writing and editing G&M code programs.
- 2-3 years experience setting up welding robots and manually touching up points
- Knowledge of Fanuc and Panasonic robot controls is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, 2D and 3D design software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Experience calculating feeds and speeds required for milling and drilling and knowledge of tooling to determine the best machining method
