Robotics Engineer

Robotics Engineer needed with 3 yrs+ experience writing code and thermal spray coatings experience. This is a temp-to-perm position located in CT. You will develop programs for new and existing thermal spray coating projects and create, manipulate, interpret, maintain and diagnose code for robotic programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

- The primary responsibility is to write code in Karel and Robotmaster.
- Automate all aspects of the process, maintain and troubleshoot robots, controllers, PLCs, and computers. Setup and configure booths, write code and data collection (Infinity QS).
- Design spray cells.
- Setup and bring new systems, airflow, shot peen, laserweld, etc.
- Setup booths and controllers and all aspects of thermal spray automation.

REQUIREMENTS

- Extensive coding knowledge with writing and creating code using Karel, Robot Master. Experience with Mastercam, and/or SolidWorks is a plus.
- BS degree in Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Working knowledge of programming Fanuc robots in Karel as well as touch pendant use.
- Experience with offline programming and 3D modeling is a plus.
