*road Engineer - Aberdeen - 3 Month Initial*

* ROAD ENGINEER - ABERDEEN - 3 MONTH INITIAL.*

Our ABERDEEN based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ROAD ENGINEER for an INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out feasibility studies, design, contract preparation, contract supervision and project management of road projects up to multi-million pound in size.

KEY TASKS

Monitor progress of schemes and advise the line manager of relevant milestones or issues

As required financial control of individual projects

Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to budget

Arranging planning applications and other authorisations as required

Undertake Investigation, Feasibility and Appraisal Studies for Road Improvement Schemes

Undertake feasibility study/route investigation/preliminary design work for projects including:

- Engineering design
- Arranging environmental assessments
- Arranging traffic and economic assessments
- Public consultations
- Public utility consultation
- Appointing consultants
- Identifying land/property acquisition requirements
- Producing estimates
- Producing reports
- Cost monitoring
