RNO ENGINEER (ITALY)
My client, a leading telecommunications business, is currently seeking a Radio Network Optimisation Engineer on a contract basis in Rome, Italy.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
- Performing RNO tasks in a project, network elements monitoring, analysis, fine tuning, optimization, troubleshooting, RNC/Cell parameter changes proposal, RNC KPI Improvement
- RF optimization of 2G/3G/4G clusters
- SFR Benchmark activity: drive-tests post-processing, reverse engineering
- Actix tool management: updates, training, reports/templates management
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years 3G NW optimization experience
- LTE optimization experience preferred
- RF optimization
- GSM, UMTS, LTE expertise
- Huawei system knowledge (for VSR activities: expertise required)
- Actix, Nemo, XCAL tools
- Italian speaking preferred, not mandatory
TECHNICAL COMPETENCE:
- Sound Huawei/NSN 3G/2G experience
- GSM/WCDMA Radio network planning and optimization experiences
- Excellent GSM/WCDMA system knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of usual performance management tools: SW suite required such as Mapinfo, Actix/Nemo and performance management datamining tools such as Metrica, Optima or equivalent
- Swap experience is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT, NOT LIMITED TO:
- Optimization of usual3G/2G/4G NWKPIs
- OSS
- DT
- Will ensure achievement and maintenance of target 3G/2G NW KPI's
- Will ensure a good communication with Customer contact throughout the project
- Will support his management in establishing priority in order to achieve best possible balance customer satisfaction versus project planning
CUSTOMER CARE:
- Reach customer satisfaction according to daily expectations
- Undertake the technical 3G/2G optimization support to customer
- Understanding and keeping under control the customer issues with the proper communication to the client
COMMUNICATION
- Provide daily/weekly report to management team
- Increase customer satisfaction and confidence
