RN/COHN or Occupational Health Nurse Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an RN/COHN OR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE to join our client in Springfield, MO.

Job Overview:

- This position is in an employee Health Clinic setting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prevention of illness/injury and protection from work related and environmental hazards.
- Evaluations and treatment of on-the-job injuries.
- Providing counseling, health and wellness education.
- Lab testing
- Immunization services.
- Venipuncture
- Respirator Fit test
- Hearing/Eye testing
- First aid
- Wellness
- Workers' compensation

Job Qualifications:

- Two to four (2-4) years of nursing experience, in occupational/employee health.
- Must have current RN license or valid temporary permit with the MO. Board of Nursing.
- Preference for a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S) from the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Emergency Room, critical care, community health or ambulatory care experience is preferred.
