RN/COHN or Occupational Health Nurse Job

Yoh has a PRN contract opportunity for an RN/COHN OR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE to join our client in Houston, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prevention of illness/injury and protection from work related and environmental hazards.
- Evaluations and treatment of on-the-job injuries.
- Providing counseling, health and wellness education.
- Lab testing and immunization services.
- Venipuncture
- Respirator Fit test
- Hearing/Eye testing
- First aid

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Four years of nursing experience, preferably in occupational/employee health.
- Must have current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing
- Preference for a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S) from the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Emergency Room, critical care, community health or ambulatory care experience is preferred.
