We are currently looking for a senior risk consultant to join a top 5 life and pensions company in London. The position is to work on a large programme that is currently in initial stages and requires a risk consultant to help design and implement risk appetite frameworks and processes.
EXPERIENCE/SKILL SET:
- Strong and recent experience of rolling out risk appetite and risk limits across an insurance organisation (life is desirable)
- detailed understanding of the theory of risk appetite and limits methodology and for pragmatic proxies to get early traction
- Strong leadership qualities and drive to implement
- deep technical understanding and good high level view of how risk appetite interacts with capital performance and other areas of use.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- PQ or Qualified Actuary
- Previous experience gain in a top life and pensions company
