Risk/Reporting Specialist - BCBS 239 - SQL/SAS (Coding)

For our client, a well renowned Swiss/International Bank, we are looking for a RISK/REPORTING SPECIALIST - BCBS 239 - SQL/SAS (CODING) with business analysis understanding and broad banking experience within a large organization.

FOR THIS REQUISITION WE CAN ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES ALREADY LIVING IN SWITZERLAND AND HOLDING A VALID WORK PERMIT OR CANDIDATES WILLING TO RELOCATE BEFORE THE 1ST OF JULY 2017(ONLY FROM THE EU).

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

- Support RtB (run the bank) tasks of the team
- Support the strategic BCBS 239 project (eg adjusting the data sourcing from Legacy systems to strategic IT systems, User Acceptance Testing, Review of Business Requirements)
- Support tactical efficiency projects (eg Next Generation)

YOUR ROLE:

- Create and update Management & Governance risk reports for the attention of Senior Management, Risk Committees, Risk Officers, Monitoring units, Regulators and internal/external audit
- Create ad-hoc evaluations and analyses on a wide range of loan and asset types, assessing portfolio, issuer and single client risks
- Preparation of worklists for the attention of Monitoring Risk Control Switzerland, but also for other global units within CRO (Chief Risk Office) Wealth Management
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in close collaboration with Investment Risk Control, Risk methodology, Risk officers, Project teams and Risk IT - Source/prepare data and calculate risk measures with SQL-, SAS-, VBA-Coding

YOUR PROFILE:

- RISK REPORTING/RISK ANALYSIS EXPERIENCE
- very good English skills
- SQL/SAS CODING EXPERIENCE (VBA IS ALSO AN ADVANTAGE)
- GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN CREDIT RISK AND CAPITAL MARKET INSTRUMENTS
- excellent analytical skills combined with good interpersonal skills
- able to quickly understand new concepts
