Risk Officer - Insurance

My client, a leading insurance company are looking to bring in a Risk Officer for their newly formed team.

ROLE SUMMARY

- Risk Officer will be responsible for delivering a new risk framework.
- Assisting with the identification, assessment and rating of risks as well as aiding with the design and implementation of controls to mitigate risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigating controls and monitor the performance against the Key Risk Indicators
- Assist with the ORSA process and management of ERM Framework
- Identify and conduct impact analyses re. emerging regulatory risks
- Prepare draft reports (including reports to the Risk Committee)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- At least ten years experience in a relevant Risk role and have excellent knowledge of Operational, Conduct Risks and a good understanding of prudential risk and capital management.
- Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of general insurance products & practices will be an essential component for this key role.
