Risk Manager, Senior - 2 days/week

Risk Manager (Snr) with extensive previous experience providing risk analysis, advice, management and integration of project and program risks using Australian Risk Management standards.

THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE, EXPECTED TO BE THE EQUIVALENT OF TWO DAYS PER WORK ON AVERAGE.

DUTIES:- Work with Program Manager, leadership team and project managers across the program.

Be accountable for:- - Review current risk management strategy
- Update the risk register and undertake analysis of risk for the current stage of the program as it moves into the next Tranche
- Maintain and monitor risk and issue management across the program
- Support the Program Manager by identifying new risks and ensuring all risks are kept up to date, including mitigation strategies.
- Ensure risks and issues are captures and managed in a consistent manner across the program.
- Maintain and manage Issues register across the program.

WORK ORDER TERM: 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015

EXTENSION OPTIONS: 1 x 1 year extensions

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS OR LICENCES REQUIRED: MSP, PRINCE2, Risk Management

SKILLS:- - Extensive senior Risk Management experience in complex business and ICT programs
- Previous experience in Government ICT projects
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong documentation and record keeping skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian Standards for Risk and Issue Management in a government context.

CRITERIA DUE 25 JUNE 2014

- Outline your experience in providing senior Risk Management service for complex programs involving:
- Undertaking risk assessments nad analysis;
- Leading program organisations through risk workshops and risk management processes.
- Maintaining risk management plans
- Maintaining issue management plans; and
- Providing advice and guidance to Senior Executive regarding risk and issue management.

Australian citizenship is a requirement, must hold current NV1 clearance.
