RISK MANAGER/PROJECT MANAGER

We are currently looking for a risk manager to work for a large Financial services client in Central London however this Risk manager position can be based in either London or Bristol. As a Risk Manager you will be joining a regulatory programme that is looking into regulatory changes around mortgages, this risk manager position will however be suitable for a risk manager with General financial services experience.

RISK MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Act as subject matter expert of MMR ("mortgage") regulations
- Design risk support activities required for Transition, including key IT transitions matters eg Testing
- Production of Risk Reporting on Programme status
- Co-ordination of Retail Business Risk teams activities

RISK MANAGER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience working in compliance/regulatory risk in financial services, preferably in a Mortgage Risk role
- Detailed knowledge of MCOB and package of changes being implemented through MMR
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand and satisfy a complex set of stakeholders
- Ability to influence stakeholders effectively to support or challenge key business decisions
