RISK MANAGER (PROJECT)

We are currently looking to recruit a risk manager to work for a ftse100 financial services company in the city. This is a new role that has been created to ensure that all Compliance and Regulatory controls and requirements are met as new processes are designed and implemented within this area of the business.

RISK MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide compliance and conduct input to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (BCOBS, ICOBS, CONC etc) and full consideration of potential conduct risks
- Effective risk management and control, facilitating timely identification and management of issues
- Implement appropriate regulatory assurance and compliance
- Identify and assess risks to ensure risk is well managed within the risk appetite
- Implement, or manage the implementation of, processes to deliver Group Risk policy and oversight and assurance within business areas, agreeing remediation plans as necessary
- Deliver effective presentations and business communications to inform and influence
- Evaluate issues from a range of stakeholder perspectives

Risk manager Experience/skill set

- Compliance and Regulatory Risk experience required
- Strong communicationexceptions are referred to superior.
