Risk Manager for Multinational Institution in Vienna/Austria

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RISK MANAGER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN VIENNA/AUSTRIA.

TASKS:

The project is managed by a project manager with support of the Project Management Team (PMT) using the PRINCE2 framework. The feature teams are organized in line with the SCRUM software development framework.

As a part of the PMT, the goal of this service is to ensure that all the project related risks are identified, recorded, analyzed, and regularly reviewed, in accordance with PRINCE2 procedure.

The consultant shall take the risk manager role and responsibilities in accordance with PRINCE2.

The consultant shall cooperate with the project manager and the PMT members in order to ensure that processes are in place

- To access to reliable, up-to-date information about risks;
- For decision-making processes supported by a framework of risk analysis and escalation;
- To monitor risks;
- To establish the right balance of control in place to deal with the risks.

The consultant shall maintain the risk register.

The consultant shall manage the risk related procedures.

The consultant shall conduct regular risk review meetings.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

- The consultant shall have Bachelor's or above.
- The consultant shall have minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of project management and at least 2 years of practical experience as risk manager in large project organisation.
- Experience in Prince 2 and SCRUM frameworks.
- Very good in English.
