Risk Manager required to work on a customer site and perform the below activities:
Responsible for developing the standard of Risk & Opportunity Management on Programmes.
Ensure the Risk & Opportunities Management process is applied consistently within the BU and on all projects and programmes.
Provide subject matter leadership to develop risk management culture at all levels of the Business Unit.
As the subject matter expert, facilitate risk management training workshops and communication sessions on a regular basis in order to develop knowledge and capability among key stakeholder groups.
Engage directly with Bid teams to ensure appropriate risk contingency figures are established based on quality risk information.
Develop consistent reporting standards for Programme reviews, demonstrating risk management performance and associated cost reduction.
Specifically supporting, training and mentoring Bid and Project Coordinators to achieve the risk management responsibilities of their role.
Support the creation of Risk & Opportunity Management Plans for Projects & Programmes.
Facilitate Business Unit risk reviews and risk identification as well as advising and supporting the Directors in developing the risk management culture within the business unit.
Maintain localised practices and procedures to achieve and maintain consistent application of quality risk management activity on bids and programmes within the overall context of the Risk & Opportunity Management policy and process.
Support all ARM users within the BU to develop and maintain appropriate skills.
Act as Business Unit ARM (risk management database) Administrator.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Previous experience in a risk management capacity.
Communicating and influencing at a senior director level.
Developing and writing detailed processes and procedures.
Guiding three point risk assessments.
Linking risk mitigation actions to the project plan.
Performing schedule risk analysis.
Facilitating risk management training and risk management workshops.
Creating and developing effective risk reporting formats.
Good working knowledge of risk software such as ARM.
Writing Risk & Opportunity Management Plans.
A working understanding of project planning.
Formal Risk Management qualification.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
