RISK & ISSUES MANAGER: RISK & ISSUE MANAGEMENT, PROJECT, PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

Opportunity for a Risk & Issues Manager to join this organisation working in Saudi Arabia 50% of the time and England 50% of the time. This a a highly visible supply chain role that will oversee and contribute to the organisations project and program risk and issues management. A hand's on position responsible for developing and executing risk and issues processes and procedures to enable the organisation Project & program objectives. Collaboration across the business is essential.

The role will be living and working in Saudi for extended periods based in a compound environment which will be expensed by the organisation.

You must currently hold or be eligible for and happy to undergo basic security clearance as a minimum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Leading project & program risk and issue management.
- Conduct Risk and Issue reviews for projects and programs.
- Document, and ensure communication of, key risks and issues.
- Recommend ways to control or reduce risk.
- Gather risk-related data from internal or external resources.
- Identify and analyse areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of Projects and Programs.
- Develop or implement risk-assessment models or methodologies.
- Produce reports and presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, and recommend changes.
- Conduct statistical analyses to quantify risk using statistical analysis software or econometric models.
- Meet with clients to answer queries on risk exposure.
- Develop contingency plans to deal with emergencies.
- Determine potential environmental impacts of new products or processes on long-term growth and profitability.

KEY SKILLS SOUGHT:

- Proven background in risk management and project or program management is essential.
- Experience in managing major programs with high risk is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in statistics, forecasting, planning and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. Knowledge of risk and issue or other software related to risk and issue management is preferred.
