Risk & Issues Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Risk and Issues Manager to join a large program in a 12 month contract.

You will closely monitor risks and issues and provide timely, expert advice and guidance on the appropriate mitigation, resolution and escalation processes.

Key Accountabilities
The Risk & Issues Manager will be required to:

- Build an issues and risk management framework, including a repository and tracking mechanism to support management of risks already identified as well as facilitate capturing of new risks.
- Maintain the risks dashboard highlighting major risks identified
- Ensure issues are identified and captured in a central repository, solutions derived and action owners appointed.
- Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to support development of risk mitigation strategies
- Continuously review the impact of risks and issues on costs and time milestones and provide status to the Project Management Office (PMO) and ERP Program Director.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated risk and issue management skills and experience on large ERP or ICT programs.
- SAP knowledge/background is highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the creation and application of strategies, policies, processes and tools relevant to a Program Management Office in a government environment.
- Management skills and experience, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes on a consistent basis and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills.
- Team-orientated with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
