Risk Identification Project Manager

For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

PROJECT MANAGER - RISK IDENTIFICATION

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6months +

Location: Zurich

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the Risk Identification and Assessment project management within the Firm-Wide Stress Testing Program. The FWST Program is a global program delivering a business process change and a strategic IT solution for risk identification and assessment to meet the requirements from the main Regulators of the bank. The Focus of this position will be on Group wide risk identification and assessment.

- Help develop and maintain a firm-wide Risk Identification framework to identify Group material risks and vulnerabilities to be used as inputs into the scenario design process and Risk Appetite setting exercise.
- Documentation of scenario narratives and core variables to be used for enterprise-wide scenario analysis.
- The project manager will also be expected to lead from the inside of the team and to carry out the duties of a senior business analyst and actively contribute to the project, the project manager will be expected to understand the project in detail in order to draw out the requirements and the necessary steps that must be made for successful delivery.
- The financial risk Project Manager will also be able to interpret and understand and assess impact from risk data for the purposes of Risk Assessment.
- Establishing credibility with all levels of the Management
- Frequent Status report updates on Project Objectives and deliverables.
- Daily review of action list and time management driving key tasks and deliverables for the team.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

- Business analyst and Project management background in financial services
- Strong market and credit risk knowledge and understanding of operational risk
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in high pressure environments under rigorous deadlines with limited supervision
- Fluent English language knowledge
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications

Desired:

- Degree in economics, finance, statistics, engineering or other numerate discipline
- Professional Risk Qualification FRM/CFA/PMRIA
- Professional Project Management Designation (PMP, Prince preferred).
- Experience in Risk Projects, Risk Identification experience particularly valuable
- Team player, the role requires problem solving skills and the ability to move with the team as the project moves forward at a rapid pace
