OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED RISKembedding a culture of responsibility and accountability to support and enable the accountable risk owners to discharge ownership, responsibility and accountability for the assessment, control and mitigation of business risk.

The role holder will work with the work stream leads and key stakeholders from across the business to fully understand the nature of the Programme risk exposure and promote, embed and support an open and participative culture that champions proactive risk management, governance and control.

Promoting the continuous improvement to the control environment and where appropriate instigate the appropriate change requests to deliver this desired business outcome

Review and provide an opinion, and guidance on the risk exposure the business faces as a result of the programme of strategic change

TECHNICAL SKILL

Strong Banking Experience.

Experience of working in an operational change environment

Good understanding of project, and systems management and their constituent parts.

Understanding of external regulatory bodies across multiple geographies.

Holds a recognised risk management qualification or studying to achieve, IRM or CIIA etc.

Ability to demonstrate good understanding of the principles of risk management eg practical experience of operating according to the three lines of defence risk management model.

Experience developing, implementing and operating control and assurance frameworks

Fluency in MS Office products.

Risk Control Self-Assessment
