Risk Framework Specialist Icaap, Credit Risk, Stress Testing

Risk Framework Specialist, ICAAP, Credit Risk Investment Banking, Stress Testing, Canary Wharf 6 months.
Tier One Investment Bank requires a Risk Specialist with framework design/ICAAP delivery Exposure ideally from a Tier One Institution to join their team in Canary Wharf.

The core purpose of the role is to Develop a Risk Framework that can be used across the business

You will be a key part in this project and be involved in facing off against and presenting to key stakeholders in different areas of the business and be needed to explain movements and drivers of the various models used within Risk and their linkage to capital, earnings, limit setting and the risk appetite process.

You will be researching and developing appropriate methodologies and processes to establish an integrated Risk Appetite and Risk Coverage Framework policies driving this work stream forward by understanding movements and drivers of the risk metrics affecting the bank

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
-A good understanding of broad risk measurement frameworks, including one or several of Market Risk (eg VaR), Internal Capital models such as economic risk capital and Credit Risk management as it applies to Investment Banking
-Risk Framework Development/ICAAP Delivery
-Knowledge of other areas such as Liquidity Risk or Capital Management would also be useful
-A degree-level education (or equivalent) in a numerate discipline - post graduate qualifications within a relevant fields ie CFA, FRM, PRIMA would be an added advantage
-Proven experience within a risk department of a large bank - with a focus on the Investment Banking division
-Solid product knowledge in either one product area or good product knowledge across a diverse range of products
-High standard of written English, and experience of producing formal documentation
-Proven experience in managing and developing staff
-To be able to operate autonomously, to deliver a project/task forward and produce an end state product that can be presented to senior management with minimal required revision
-Ideally, experience in limit setting and in the design or implementation of Risk Appetite and wider Risk Frameworks, or previous experience in an Enterprise Risk function
