Risk Decisioning/Systems/Risk Infrastructure Consultant - Powercurve/Strategy Manager expertise - West Yorkshire - Market leading organisation - £500 - 3month contract with possible extension - start date ASAP - urgent requirement

The Risk Decisioning/Systems Consultant will act as the SME assisting the Credit Decisioning team with the IRB Project, with the build, unit and system test of new Basel models. The successful candidate will design and build the models as specified using PowerCurve, unit test the models using PowerCurve's interactive tester and system test all the models using SAS.

ROLE:

Assist the Credit Decisioning team, within the Credit Risk department, with our IRB project - specifically with the build, unit and system test of new Basel models.

Responsible for the design, build the models as specified using PowerCurve, unit test all the models using PowerCurve's interactive tester, and system test all the models using SAS.

Engage with stakeholders within the Decisioning and Modelling teams as well as Senior Management to ensure key deliverables are met.

Skills and knowledge transfer to permanent members of the team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Credit Decision tools/systems/Front End strategies - Powercurve, Strategy Manager

Proven Credit Risk experience -credit decision tools/Front End strategies/credit decisioning systems

Financial services industry experience - consumer credit/retail banking

Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Risk life cycle

Excellent communication skills - effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Stakeholder engagement, and third party engagement

Good analytical skills - SAS, SQL
