Risk & Controls Analyst - Edinburgh - 6 months - Contract

Hyphen has an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Controls Analyst to work a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh at competitive rates for a major Financial Services client, to start ASAP.

The successful candidate will have a background in Investment Management, as well as general Risk Analyst Skills.

Accountabilities

* Enhance, develop and maintain a general risk and compliance culture and awareness
* Aid development of automated resolutions for manual processes
* Keep management informed of issues and matters arising
* Support management & undertake any special projects as may be required
* Ensure that procedural updates are carried out as required
* Maintain department files & records (both paper & electronic)

Essentials

* An understanding of the investment management business (essential)
* A knowledge of operational risk (advantageous)
* Ability to work accurately and within timescales (essential)
* Excellent communication skills (essential)
* A good understanding of Excel & Word (desirable)
