"RISK CONTROL - RISK CONTROL SPECIALIST" - Zurich, 6months +

Are you risk averse? Do you know how to maintain independence and objectivity? Do you have a knack for analysing business processes? Are you experienced with KYC and Client Risk Rating business processes and technologies?

We're looking for someone like that who can help us:

- understand, analyze and document business cases and requirements, develop detailed business requirements and guide them through implementation
- calibrate a model in several iterations for various divisions and jurisdictions,
- explore parameter space of input factors, and to determine impact,
- analyse large quantities of data and consolidate into concise and meaningful overviews
- identify opportunities for IT and process improvements
- assist IT and business in defining test cases and acceptance criteria
- facilitate and support the transition of Change Program into run-the-bank.

Your team:
You'll be working in the Risk Change Architecture & Analysis Team in Zurich. We support the delivery of Change-the-Bank projects. As a part of this team you would act as the essential conduit between business stakeholders in Risk and the IT delivery functions, at various levels of seniority and across geographies.

You will work closely with the project team members, IT, and the Risk Model development team assisting with requirements analysis, data preparation and visualisation in order to successfully transform the business services.

Project Description
We are replacing several regional/divisional risk calculation models with one global solution. The new model will need to be calibrated to increase global standardisation, but still account for regional or divisional regulatory requirements.

Key Deliverables

- Standardised deck of slides & charts for management information
- Consistent & transparent documentation of findings, assumptions, and decisions
- Support & facilitate workshops, education sessions and presentations as required to collect and communicate the results across business divisions.

Experience and Qualifications:

Your are:

- degree in business administration, banking and finance, economics, engineering or similar subject
- 3+ years business analysis experience in the financial industry, ideally relating to the area of Compliance and/or Operational Risk
- the ability to work with data from various sources and make sound conclusions
- knowledge of how models work, ideally relating to risk
- very good knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Office tools and reporting tools such as Business Objects/Tableau/Microstrategy

You are:

- client orientated and are able to build collaborative relationships
- good at analysing and implementing your problem solving skills (you know how to figure things out)
- able to focus on details and quality
- fluent in English and preferably German too
- an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
- a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude.
