For our Client from the banking industry we are looking for:
RISK CONTROL REPORTING SPECIALIST
Location: Zürich
Duration: 3 months
Start date: 01.09.2018
Job Description: Role Purpose
The Risk Control Reporting Specialist will be part of the Center of Excellence, supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer and the Divisional Chief Risk Officers in their responsibility to report the Bank's risks (ie position and consequential risks) to internal management (including GEB and BoD) and external stakeholders (via financial results reporting and reporting/ad hoc submissions to investors, analysts, rating agencies, auditors, and regulators).
The Risk Control Reporting Specialist coordinates within and/or across Business Divisions to aggregate and report risk information, provides support on cross-divisional issues in their risk reporting processes, defines and sets global risk reporting standards in conjunction with senior management and defines data requirements acting as the interface to group-wide risk systems/operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds standardized reports and dashboards using the Microstrategy BI tool kit within specified deadlines
- Supports and operate within a consistent, coordinated and transparent reporting structure/hierarchy
- Assists in the training of Microstrategy to colleagues within the Center of Excellence
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Assist in the compliance with BCBS239 by building out report content in MICROSTRATEGY to facilitate the completion of key risk reports delivered on the strategic infrastructure
- Work with the visualization and design experts within the team to build dashboards using Microstrategy to deliver on senior stakeholder requirements
- Perform quality control on risk report content and ensure clear and transparent communication of key messages and underlying risks
