Risk Consultant - DV Cleared - 6+ Month Contract - Bristol

RISK CONSULTANT - DV CLEARED - 6 MONTH MINIMUM CONTRACT - BRISTOL

- Planning, designing and implementing an Risk Management processes/policies/procedures for clients
- Creation/streamlining of Risk Registers to accurately represent the potential risks to the project
- Analysis of risks including costs, legal requirements, environmental factors and people factors
- Establishing and quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite'
- Identifying Risks that need to be mitigated, and putting into place process/structure that enables that mitigation to take place
- Corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
- Carrying out processes such as implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans to limit risks and prepare for worst case scenarios
- Consult with clients to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses
- Influence clients to implement suggestions for exposure/risk reduction

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar role/sector
- Experience in high quality risk analysis and schedule risk analysis modelling
- Should have thorough understanding of commercial underwriting, finance and risk management
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management or related field
- Demonstrates good understanding of or similar tools
- Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint software programs
- Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong inter-personal skills as well as strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities
- Able to make complex technical information and recommendations understandable and clear to audiences with varied levels of technical knowledge
