Risk Business Analyst - Commodities - Geneva

Risk Business Analyst is required for a leading Global Commodities Organisation based in Geneva on behalf of a Financial Consultancy. They are looking for a solid Business Analyst with exposure in Risk and Risk Analysis, as well as having worked within a Commodities or Commodities trading organisation. You will be helping the client to drive innovative strategies to improve business performance and manage risk. This is a 6 month initial contract and must be based 5 days Monday to Friday in Geneva.

Responsibilities.

- Lead customer/vendor analysis, and client interviews and workshops.
- Develop and present solutions and recommendations.
- Lead financial analysis and business case development, applying new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches.
- Provide a QA and oversight function over ongoing Risk Analysis work

Requirements

- Must have Risk experience, Risk Analysis, ideally some exposure to Financial Accounting
- Must have experience in working at a Commodities or Energy Trading
- Experience with trading and risk management technologies, operations and processes.
- Solid practical industry expertise in investment banking, capital markets or energy trading.
- Strong problem identification skills and creativity to develop new, innovative solutions.
- Experience leading process improvement, comparative analysis and change management projects using a variety of formalized tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of and ability to create financial models and business cases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong team leadership skills and people management experience.
- Broad experience in planning projects, managing time, resources, priorities and meeting goals
