Risk & Audit Manager

Our Public Sector client based in Wiltshire with further offices across the UK is currently seeking a Risk and Audit Manager to join them on a Fixed Term basis (9 Months) in Wiltshire but with the possibility of travel to London and other UK cities.

The Risk and Audit Manager will assist the Head of Risk Management & Assurance in implementing and embedding risk management. You will provide risk management support to major projects. Furthermore you will prepare appropriate and timely reports for key meetings.

Risk and Audit Manager Specification:

*Producing risk reports for various meetings including Operations and Management Board.
*To provide risk Management training.
*Work with managers to review risk and mitigating actions.
*Facilitate risk identifying workshops.
*Produce training materials
*Help provide support to managers on all aspects of Risk Management.
*Assist in the identification of future enhancements to the risk management system.
*Training staff to use risk management software.
*Provide helpdesk support for end users of the software.
*Coordinate head office response on partial compliance to Units.
*Report on results to Operations Board and Audit Committee
*Coordinate Head office feedback to Units on internal Audit control.
*Monitor implementation of actions to ensure provision of a full secretariat service to the Audit Committee
*Handling expenses and queries for members of audit committee
*Act as liaison between members of committee and client to ensure reports are prepared on progress of audit recommendations.
*Following up on audit recommendations.
*Manage the annual audit programme - reporting progress and negotiating variations.
*Preparing standard and Ad Hoc reports for Various Committees and managers.
*Assist with the monitoring of the audit and risk management budgets reporting any problems.
*To assist in drafting the annual risk management and audit reports.
*Manage the Electronic Filing system for all Audit and risk management documents.
*Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the post's band delegated by the Head of Risk Management.
