As a Senior Associate in our Risk Assurance practice you&rsquoll have the opportunity to develop your career and contribute to the shape of our future business, working with our London Top Tier clients. You&rsquoll have a passion for helping new and existing clients protect and strengthen their business, as well as an understanding of risk, accounting and controls. As part of a market-leading assurance team, you&rsquoll support large global corporate clients in improving their systems, processes or controls support. 

Our London Top Tier (LTT) team, provide assurance and specialist advisory services to many of the UK?s most successful non-financial sector corporates including delivering the audits of around 20 of the FTSE 100.  Within LTT, our Risk Assurance team provide a wide range of solutions to our clients in various industries, including telecommunications, oil and gas, entertainment and media and retail and consumer. We&rsquove experienced double digit growth in the last five years and are forecasting for this continue, so it&rsquos a great time to join us.

About the role

You&rsquoll be responsible for the execution and delivery of work across a combination of audit and advisory engagements. You&rsquoll be:

Under the direction of a manager and partner, executing annual internal audit & business process review plans
Advising & assisting in the development of internal audit & risk management strategies and methodologies
Developing client relationships and presenting at kick-off and close meetings
Managing the execution of internal audit projects including documentation, identifying controls and performing tests for effectiveness & efficiency

Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff
Knowledge of, and experience in internal audit, controls, risk & business processes
Knowledge of, and experience specifically in IT general controls is desirable
Strong client service mindset and experience dealing with clients
Ability to be agile in changing circumstances both internally and externally when dealing with client issues
A team player with strong time and project management skills
Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff is desirable
