PwC's Risk Assurance practice is looking to grow its Oracle team.  The Oracle team require Managers to join an existing team of professionals, specialising in delivering Oracle security, risk and control solutions to a large national and international client base.  The role is based in the London Top Tier (LTT) business unit which focuses primarily on PwC&rsquos FTSE100 and Government and Public sector client, although the role requires flexibility to travel on international engagements. This role includes working in industries of all varieties, including retail and consumer, telecommunications and marketing and media.

You&rsquoll be expected to support Risk Assurance teams working on a diverse range of projects from Oracle GRC Advanced Controls implementations system and control reviews through to full scale security and control re-design and transformation projects. To perform this role successfully the key skills required from you will be exceptional business consulting skills and some or all of the following: understanding of core Oracle Financials processes, Oracle EBS business process controls expertise, Oracle Advanced Controls, and/or SQL experience.

About the role

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a growing team within our Risk Assurance practice.  Our projects are typically shorter than ERP implementations, so if you have developed your Oracle functional skills but want to work with a broader range of clients and on a broader range of projects, this could be the right role for you. The role has arisen due to a growing pipeline of work, particularly around PwC&rsquos Oracle risk and control services.  Our team works nationally and you are likely to get exposure to other parts of the firm, including our Consulting and Audit and Assurance practices.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate, with development opportunities around Oracle and broader business skills.

We&rsquore looking for an extremely motivated individual who will relish this business development opportunity, using their skills in developing key relationships at the largest organisations in the UK using Oracle.  You&rsquoll work with the Oracle team reporting to a Senior Manager or Director to deliver Oracle-related work to our clients. Work will include:

Delivering pre and post implementation reviews of Oracle security and controls (both manual and configurable/automated controls)
Delivering audit support Oracle security and controls reviews. Feeding findings/implications back to audit teams
Helping clients design their Oracle security and control environments during a system implementation
Helping clients to optimise their use of Oracle functionality
Helping to build the Oracle/ERP practice in the London top-tier business unit 
Implementing Oracle Advanced Control applications and
Leading teams of junior/less experienced practitioners to complete the above work.

You&rsquoll receive appropriate training for the engagements that you will undertake and coaching on engagements, although it is anticipated that you will be in a position to coach junior team members in these areas without requiring significant coaching yourself.  

Requirements

Essential skills needed for the role:

5-7 years experience of the Oracle E-Business Suite and a demonstrable understanding of core Oracle Financials processes
Commitment to professional and personal development
The ability to work within a team
Enthusiasm about Oracle and its solutions
The ability to work effectively in the face of pressure and not compromise professional standards
Strong communication skills ? particularly around explaining complex technical issues to non-technical people, such as PwC audit managers or client contacts
Report writing and
Ability to assess process and project risk.

Desirable skills sought for the role:

Knowledge of Oracle Advanced Controls solutions and experience of implementing them
Knowledge of Oracle database and Oracle reporting technologies
Experience of writing SQL code 
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials and other Cloud-based Oracle offerings and
Experience of implementing Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
Related certifications such as CISA or CIA are preferred
Project management methodology and associated tools such as Prince2 and Microsoft Project
