Risk Assessor - Security

Our Public Sector Client requires an expert in physical security who has a background in defining threats and assessing risks, and can undertaking an audit of the physical security against HMG Cabinet Office Security Policy and Mandatory Requirements.

*Due to the nature of the role, SC Clearance will be required

Using a risk management approach the Client must provide effective management of the risk of threats to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of assets, without conflict to the efficient conduct of its business.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work closely with Client's Head of Estate Services and key business stakeholders. Through audit, inspections and interviews with circa 10 key stakeholders will formulate the threat and risk assessment, thereafter produce an Operational Requirement (OR).

Core/mandatory technical skills/knowledge and experience:
* Appropriate risk and threat assessment experience and technical qualifications
* Available immediately for initial assignment on a full time basis
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Provision of own source of Government Security Policy and guidance documents
* Proven experience of working with government agencies' clients
* Ability to consider a range of threats, risks and solutions.
