RISK APPETITE ANALYST - MARKET RISK - CREDIT RISK - OPERATIONAL RISK - BASEL

The Risk Division protects the bank's strategic directives by establishing a strong control environment for our risks. Understanding the bank's risks at all times and ensuring that our risk is deployed in balanced and economic way is a cornerstone of the firm overall stability. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for EMEA responsibility is to look at the risk across the UK entities and covers the entity wide frameworks such as risk appetite, scenario analysis and elements of Capital Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The suitable candidates will support the Risk Appetite Manager and will contribute to the review current process of Risk Appetite framework review and enhancement in order to:
* assess current state against regulatory and industry guidelines to identify gaps
* assess improvements in the overall framework and underlying individual risk (Market, Credit etc) frameworks
* analysis of current risk profile across market, credit, operational and liquidity risks
* Keep track of progress on agreed implementation plan
* Draft document end-to-end key framework and roles and responsibilities of the different stakeholders
* Engage with stakeholders to ensure underlying framework policies and documents incorporate changes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
SKILLS
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Challenging and inquisitive mindset
* Excellent mainstream Microsoft tools (Powerpoint, word, xls)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised and self-motivated individual able to learn quickly and work independently

EXPERIENCE
* Experience in Financial Services, Consulting or Audit
* Relevant experience in governance, process implementation and stress testing
