JOB TITLE: Risk and Reporting Project Lead

SALARY & BENEFITS: £40,000pa ( fixed term for 3 months initially)

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (flexible)

THE ROLE: An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Reporting Project lead. This role is essentially needed to provide the capacity and capability as part of our 21st Century change project to shape our operational and strategic reporting against the determined key operational and corporate risks. A comprehensive reporting framework needs to be established that firstly provides trustees with timely and accurate information and assurance and seconds embeds a systematic change to reporting that is simplified, focussed and means we have the right information available to manage the organisation effectively

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:- AGREE THE RISKS WE WANT TO MEASURE

- Establish reporting requirements from trustees and exec
- Review industry best practices and apply to business risk management processes where appropriate to inform development of the reporting framework

SCOPING OF REPORTING FRAMEWORK

- Provide accurate work scoping and cost estimations for delivery of the framework to cover strategic reporting, operational reporting, intelligence reporting, based on risk
- Scoping (including business case) but not implementation of the systems, processes and teams required to deliver against the framework
- As part of reporting framework, design and produce a dashboard for trustees on a quarterly basis
- Establish the process of amalgamating all reports into the dashboard

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have in depth experience in delivering projects and have proven experience of dealing with and managing multiple stakeholders. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you should have strong influencing and negotiating skills the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, have strong planning and organisational skills and be competent with the analysis and management of complex data.

KEY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

- Solid conceptual, analytical and quantitative skills (including Excel), e.g. through CIMA qualifications, or relevant degree
- Experience of working directly with or in an MI environment and writing report requirement briefs
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks
- Proficient at reading and writing SQL code, ideally within Business Objects environment
- Deep understanding of reporting toolset capabilities and constraints

Excellent attention to detail

- A passion for understanding and working with people with a learning disability

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- Desirable to have knowledge of Charity reporting
