Risk and Controls Analyst

My client a leading Retail Bank is actively seeking a Risk and Controls Analyst to lead thematic reviews across their retail credit services business.

The role holder will provide operational expertise and guidance into the design and operating effectiveness of key controls whilst challenging control effectiveness.

In addition to this the role holder will implement the Group Compliance policy in liaison with the Head of Compliance.

Responsibilities

To support the implementation of effective risk and control thematic reviews based on areas of key risks.

Support leadership on regulatory and compliance matters and the management of operational risk.

Identify control issues

Candidate Requirements

*Financial Services/Banking
*Deep knowledge of subject matter specifically in relation to Operational Risk, Governance, Risk methodologies
*In depth knowledge of governance and risk management methodologies.
*Awareness of internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of a business/function.
*Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
