FRAUD ANALYST/RISK ANALYST - FRAUD, RISK, PAYMENTS

Risk/Fraud Analyst required by global organisation based in central London. As a risk analyst you will work within the Payment Risk Operations Team helping prevent fraud and minimize losses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform as a subject matter expert for Payments Risk Operations Team
- Analyze application and merchant transactional data to mitigate fraud and financial loss trends
- Act on chargebacks and coordinate with merchants to defend disputes
- Create and implement mitigation plans for higher risk customers
- Applies detailed understanding of payments industry knowledge to developing new operating mechanisms
- Deliver service to our customers that shows we care about them
- Suggest recommendations for product improvements
- Perform root cause analysis of losses and turns data into actionable information for future reviews
- Understand how Risk plays a key role in the social and mobile payments world
- Manage inbound and outbound risk queries over the phone and emails
