Risk Analyst

(JUNIOR) RISK ANALYST - PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE PREFERABLE

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a risk analyst to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The analyst will provide support in providing risk oversight of key grant management portfolios by ensuring operationalization of risk management across the grant life cycle by Country Teams
and their successful further embedding into day-to-day grant management tools,
processes, and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the specialists in undertaking analysis of the key risks, mitigation and

assurance across selected portfolios.
- Advise Country Teams and track their progress in meeting risk process

requirements, provide necessary training on risk management process
requirements.
- Reflect the risk trends within the context of the Clients grant management

and provide analytical reasoning.
- Develop and maintain internal risk databases using different information sets

(both internal and external), that can inform the risk specialists in forming an
independent risk view on the key prioritized risks, mitigation and assurances.
- Create reports that highlight good practices in mitigating key operational risks

across the Clients portfolio.

TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S NECESSARY THAT YOU HAVE:

- Three years of hands-on program, GRANT and risk management experience, of which part should be related to operational risks affecting country operations;
- Experience of risk analysis, particularly the linking of broad strategic risks and operational risks connected to in-country operations;
- International experience and field work is essential
- Strong business understanding of the grant management life cycle
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and with different stakeholders and partners.
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
