Riser Project Engineer

Hope you are well. My client, a specialist offshore solutions provider, are seeking a Riser Analysis Project Engineer. This is a 12 month rolling contract, 40 hours per week with overtime available. Rates are dependent on experience.

Reporting to the Riser Analysis Manager this position will require a driven project engineer to help develop the project engineering approach to Riser Analysis. This approach is intended to provide a more complete service to our clients and will be an important development as we target key clients in 2013 and beyond. The engineer will be responsible for developing project plans in conjunction with the Senior Analysts, monitoring and reporting progress to the RA Manager.

The role will be developed in to a client facing role, and the successful candidate will schedule and gain experience in client meetings and conference calls with the Analysts. The Engineer will also assist in what is a critical part of every analysis project, which is gathering, presenting and agreeing data with the client.

The role will include preparing quotations, variations and costing for Riser Analysis projects. As the team and experience grows it is expected that the role would also develop.

Riser Analysis technical and process training will be provided. Duties will include:- · Planning RA projects.

· Monitoring of progress of RA projects.

· Client facing, providing updates on project status and results.

· Client facing, gathering data for RA projects.

· Preparing technical specifications for RA work such as BOD's, questionnaires and stack up drawings.

· Assisting technical sales in preparing quotations.
