RIGHT ANGLE APPLICATION DEVELOPER TULSA, OK 6+ MONTH CONTRACT

This role will be responsible for application development and support. Primary work areas are Commodity Marketing and Pipeline Management systems, including, but not limited to, Right Angle (RA), internal web application, and related interfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Customize the Right Angle application using PowerBuilder and Transact SQL
- Design/develop reports for Right Angle
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces to and from related applications
- Produce detailed documentation for all configuration and application operations
- Monitor application availability and performance
- Maintain and support compliance and audit related activities
- Provide day-to-day support to application users
- Provide application troubleshooting and problem solving
- Rotational on-call application support

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience using Sybase PowerBuilder for application development/enhancement
- Experience using the JAVA/JBoss programming language to extend and maintain the clients web-based application
- PL/SQL experience for maintenance of interfaces to Oracle Financials
- Experience using Microsoft T-SQL for query and procedure maintenance and development
- Experience using Microsoft Data Transformation Services for maintenance and development of Back End scheduled processing
- Basic expertise/knowledge in systems design concepts and standards
- Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
- Validation of technical design decisions to determine impact on performance and reliability

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Business Objects, JSF, .NET (C#, ASP), Java, JavaScript, NHibernate/Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, DB Visualizer or TOAD, VBScript, XML, PL/SQL
- Experience supporting Gas and Oil applications preferred
- Experience supporting Right Angle applications preferred
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Strong planning skills
- Self-motivation
