Rig Superintendent/Upgrade Project Manager

Multinational operator requires an Rig Superintendent/ Rig upgrade project manager for an immediate start. Despite the size of this firm you will be an integral part of their core operations and shall not succumb to the soulless environments of other large firms.

The ideal candidate will have a significant track record in the management and execution of oil and gas projects, an educational background in a relevant engineering discipline and a full understanding of Standard Practices and Interfacing requirements with Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractors.

Strong analytical, leadership, negotiations and communication skills are essential for this role and a background in brownfield project management and drill rig upgrades and / or construction is highly advantageous.

The project is anticipated to last for two years and the successful candidate will be required to travel offshore on an ad hoc basis, occasionally at short notice.

This role is office based Monday to friday (11.30am finish on a friday)
