Rig Manager - Drillship - Gulf Of Mexico - $180,000

A rapidly growing Drilling Contractor is currently seeking experienced offshore managers who are looking to advance their career to the next level. Due to the release of multiple new rigs, this firm is looking for experienced Rig Managers ready to get to work.

Key Responsibilies:

* Ensure full vessel compliance with all mandatory state and federal rules and regulations
* Manage the planning and efficient execution of the drilling
* Organize, Delegate, and supervise the activities of the drilling, marine, catering and maintenance departments
* Develop and control the operational budget and expenses, adhering to budgetary plans
* Maintain efficient working relationships with Client Representative and all third party personnel operating on the vessel
* Ensure proper planning and ongoing operations for rig moves are performed in a safe and efficient manner
* Ensure continual development and training of employees working on the vessel so as to meet the employee's career goals while at the same time meeting the needs of the company
* Maintaining a climate of safety to people, equipment and the environment is maintained as a matter of practice for all company, third party and visitors on the vessel.
