RF Systems Integration - Essex - 6 to 12 Months

An Systems Integration client based in Essex is looking for Specialist RF Systems Integration. This will be for an initial 6 to 12 months contract with extensions.

Role:

You will be responsible for defining the RF/Microwave architecture of amplifier systems including Satcom, microwave power modules. In this role the incumbent will be a technical interface between internal functions & external customers, product, project & marketing managers on a range of activities from identification and resolution of applications issues products, specification analysis, product selection and special testing of devices to exploit new market opportunities. You will work closely with product/programme managers to determine demand and prioritise accordingly.

*Identification and selection of appropriate test methodologies to ensure robust verification of new products.
*Develops and Executes novel development test activities to establish suitability of process.
*Defines, costs & sources development test equipment and external compliance testing requirements from understanding of product test requirements.
*Identification and understanding of complex patterns in development test data and influence of device performance.
*Review of product design to ensure suitability for testing (design for test) and development of appropriate test documentation.
*Identification of opportunities for automation of development and or production test through the development phase.

Skills:

*Excellent knowledge of microwave principles, solid state microwave systems and circuit design
*Use of electrical, thermal, RF/microwave test and measurement equipment,
*Digital communications (QPSK, QAM, CDMA etc)
*Commissioning of test equipments, EMC/EMI testing, environmental testing
*Preparation of product compliance documentation Test Planning
*Security: SC Clearance essential + non ITAR UK National
