RF Project Engineer - Netherlands - 12 Months

A GLOBAL CLIENT OF MINE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN RF PROJECT ENGINEER TO JOIN THEM ON A CONTRACT BASIS FOR 12 MONTHS AT THEIR SITE IN THE NETHERLANDS.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design RF boards using commercial CAD tools for characterization purposes
- Provide measurements results from an RF set-up (DC, S-parameter, power sweep, load pull) and thermal & IR set-ups for a full range of RF products
- Participate to the development of new measurement platforms
- Collaborate with global characterization teams for continuous improvement and standardization of RF test bench and testing procedures
- Generating measurement reports during the product characterization process
- Production test fixtures developed for the production environment
- Ensure testability of the new product and a smooth introduction of the test solution in production
- Provide support and documentation to local staff and the offshore assembly centre on correct use and maintenance of the test solutions implemented
- Participate in actions aimed at improving test performance and reducing testing cost in production

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Electrical Engineering degree or similar
- Semiconductor/Electronics Industry background (5+ years)
- RF board design, evaluation, characterization and testing
- RF Design, RF measurement technique & RF equipment
- Familiar with board assembly
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
