SENIOR RF OPTICAL-ICS RESEARCHER

12+ MONTH CONTRACT
€50-60/HOUR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

THE ROLE
- Analyze the technical trend of the ICs applied in the optical modules and lead the team to prepare the technical capability;
- Analyze the SPEC requirement of the driver/TIA applied in the high speed optical modules, eg.100G or faster coherent optical modules;
- Design the circuit of the ICs applied in the high speed optical modules, including simulation/foundry sourcing/design/test/modify;
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Sophisticated(10+ years) in the RFIC design and familiar with the architecture of the optical modules;
- Creative design ability to solve problems demanding the highest levels of speed and power performance.
- Expert in fundamentals of circuits, transmission lines and microwave theory.
- Experienced with guiding and mentoring other analog design engineers from architecture definition, implementation to lab evaluation.
- Proficient working with various technologies - SiGe BiCMOS, III-V technologies, CMOS.
