RF/Microwave Engineer- SC clearance a MUST

RF/Microwave engineer required by aap3 to join our prestigious client, a global leader in electronics and IT within the defence industry. The successful candidate will need to be SC cleared, allowing them to work on the top technology within the electronics for use on multiple platforms. If you have a wealth of experience and a degree or HND in electronic or Physics this could be the role for you. There is a certain level of travel within this role.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a degree/HND/HNC in either Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Physics or Applied Physics

Have worked in RF/Microwave design or Test & Support

Applying experience and knowledge in Communications, Radar and Satellite bands

RF/Microwave Design and test support (based on competency and experience)

Turing work projects into a finished product due to experience in other fields such as mechanical engineering/manufacturing.

Essential skills of a successful candidate:

Extensive experience of RF/Microwave testing, techniques and test equipment

Competent at fault finding with products

Competent with MS Office for data analysis, presentations and reporting

Capable of creating high standard test documents and design reports for review

Some experience of Microwave CAE (ADS and/or MWO

Knowledge of circuit techniques for RF circuits and MMIC design
