RF Engineer with Atoll/Model Tuning

K&M is seeking an RF Design Engineer to deliver high-quality RF engineering design for one of our clients in Philadelphia.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Validate and implement RF design link budgets, propagation models, product related parameters in design platform.
- Build up design project/database with Atoll RF planning tool on PC platforms.
- Tune or verify the Propagation Models based on continuous wave (CW) drive tests.
- Plan PCI and neighbors list for DAS network.
- Work with customer for antenna selection and site configuration.
- Produce traffic maps, run predictions and simulations, and calculate design KPIs.
- Optimize RF design by ATOLL tool and manual fine-tune, identify and improve problem areas in terms of coverage, interference and service quality.
- Generate RF data sheet (RFDS) for site implementation and construction.
- Populate RF design data into network design template.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

- 3-5 years experience as an RF Design Engineer
- Must be expert with ATOLL/MODELING RF design tool.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering required, M.S. preferred (accredited universities only)
- Must have strong LTE/UMTS knowledge.
- Must have good understanding of RF design method and procedure. 
- Must be an expert with ATOLL/ACP RF design tool.
- Must be knowledgeable in multi-technology site configuration and implementation.
- Technical skills: UMTS knowledge, ATOLL, Mapinfo, MS Excel.
- Experience with major wireless carriers and knowledge of DAS network solutions preferred.
- Must clear background/driving record check & drug test. 
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
