RF Engineer - Validation/Verification/Debugging

For our client, a global R&D Chip Provider we are looking for multiple RF Engineers on a freelance basis for Munich

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: 6 Months (up to 2 year project)

Location: Munich

Languages: English

Responsibilities :

* Understanding of previous and current modem platform environment, RF Frontend design and Chip architecture

* Understanding requirements (RF Frontend landing zone, key component list, layer stack, size, key performance indicator, RF requirements beyond 3GPP spec)

* Understanding calculation tools for RF Frontend concept Engineering

* Setting up test benches for RF transceiver verification with focus on TX (2G/3G/4G)

* Setting up automated tests for transceiver characterization on chip level (e.g. EVM, ACLR, spurious, LO leakage)

* Transfer existing programmed test cases (programmed in MATLAB) to a new Intel tooling environment timing optimized

* Performing typ. transceiver test cases (TX) and data evaluation. Understand TX Transceiver specification & judge results.

Your Skills:

* Experienced in verification of RF transceiver - TX/RX part

* RF knowledge

* Basic understanding of typ. RF transceiver TX OR RX architecture/blocks

* Experienced in Cellular RF (2G/3G/4G) measurements

* Expert with RF-Test equipment (spectrum analyser / power meter/ signal generator, etc.)

* Experienced with automatization of RF transceiver test cases

* Experienced with Matlab Test Automisation

Languages:

- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
- German language is not needed
