Position Titles: RF Engineer - Pre and Post Tuning

Location: Dallas Texas

Project Duration: 12 months

The project will focus on CDMA & EVDO networks where the carrier is migrating and integrating new RBS modernization equipment, where tuning is required. LTE could be included in this project in the modernization phase.

Able to coordinate with local Implementation Managers (IM), leads, etc. for planning of 3G site migrations. Coordinate with IM in preparation of script generation. Ensure session files are error free prior to script generation. Scripting team will do this but lead needs to be aware of session file issues and work with cross functional team to resolve. Ensure all q-track deliverables are aligned with integration dates (IM will request integration/migration scripts, RF and other groups develop the scripts, NIC implements)

Minimum requirements for this position: Strong understanding of CDMA/EVDO technology. - Has previous experience with Nortel/Ericsson Legacy BTS (DCG/eDCG/MFRM) products. Prior Sprint exposure preferred. LTE Parameter and optimization knowledge preferred. Strong understanding of RF capacity planning and tuning.

The person should be able to work independently and with minimum supervision. The success of this project will focus on the quality and accuracy of deliverables which require high attention and visibility. Able to work extended hours as required. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge and ability to work these tools are preferred: RFDS, MapInfo (Mandatory) - Excellent in Excel/PowerPoint (Mandatory)
