RF ENGINEER - OPTIMIZATION

Flint are seeking an experienced RF Engineer (with SON experience preferred) that will deliver the technologies, solutions and services customers need to implement SON Products, solutions and expertly optimizing their networks.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalated issues.

Strong customer interfacing skills is a requirement for the role, and the ability to work in a challenging environment.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Meet with operator customers to define and document SON system requirements

Perform system analysis and design of SON use cases for GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE-Advanced and proprietary systems with emphasis on intellectual property creation

Work with focused teams and actively contribute to implementation of SON Modules and SON framework

Support SON Module FOAs by monitoring Module performance and identifying areas of improvement

Write technical documents and papers specifying technical requirements, solutions and product goals

Author and present customer-facing presentations and written technical materials

Performs analysis and diagnosis of SON Products

Performs analysis of UMTS, LTE networks designs, customer deployments and

RF Optimization.

Define practice deliverables, assignments and schedule working with the technical Project Management.

Customer Support - represent the company's technical capabilities and manage day-to-day technical needs of wireless customers. Support/enable customer specific solutions to grow business. Steer customer expectations according to product and network management capabilities.

Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks on assigned issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

3-6+ years of Experience in Cellular Technologies and different vendors such as E///, ALU, NSN, Huawei.

Excellent knowledge of LTE/UMTS network architecture as well as ecosystem elements

Knowledge & Understanding of Femto Technology

Experienced in Interoperability Testing (IOT) with multiple vendors for Mobile network elements

Experienced in System Acceptance Testing: Ensure functionality of all test cases, and troubleshoot and isolate any faults encountered

Excellent knowledge in different vendor RF Parameters.

Good Data Base expertise, SQL, MONGO.

Hands on experience in OSS and SNMP protocol integration

Cisco Certification a plus

Up to 70% travel including international
