RF Engineer (f/m)

For our client, a global Telecommunications company focussing on Mobile R&D we are looking for multiple RF System Validation Engineers on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: initially until 30.04.18 (6 month extension available)

Location: Munich

Languages: English Fluency is Mandatory.

Tasks:

* Bring-up, verification and debugging of RF subsystems in modem applications

* Automate the Post-Silicon Validation of the TX chain of the RF transceiver

* Recommend Root Cause Analysis or Failure Mitigation actions.

* Analyse excel data collected in multiple modes of cellular operation: 4G (LTE Legacy and LTE-Advanced), 3G (UMTS and CDMA2000) and GSM

* RF System Engineering

* Analyse 3GPP LTE Rel-14 specs and with MATLAB programming

Skills:

* RF (3GPP) system overview

* RF System integration / validation

* Field experience (Experience with customer support)

* MATLAB programming

* Experienced in Cellular RF (2G/3G/4G) systems

* Strong System Validation Background

* Masters Degree in Engineering (or similar)

Languages:

Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
