My client has a fresh opportunity for an experience RF Engineer to join their team in Yorkshire. The primary responsibility of this position is the development of new electronic designs for RF wireless and embedded applications. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the development cycle including specification development, circuit design, board layout, BOM generation, prototyping, testing, certification and design verification documentation. You will work on a contractor base on assigned projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:
* Development of specifications for RF/wireless product functionality.
* Development of verification test strategies and plans.
* Design, analysis and implementation of active and passive RF circuits up to 6 GHz for low-noise, high-dynamic range receiver circuits.
* Analysis of antenna requirements, and antenna development.
* Development of RF layout, isolation, and shielding guidelines for board layout.
* Documentation releases including parts lists, assembly drawings, test requirements and procedures.

Primary Job Requirements:
* BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
* 8+ years design experience with particular requirements as follows:
* RF circuit design experience in a product development environment
* RF circuit analysis experience
* Experience with RF system certification requirements: FCC, CE, ETSI and Cellular regulatory requirements

* Excellent Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Self-starter with the ability to finish small projects completely
* Ability to manage and complete multiple smaller projects
* Ability to direct the efforts of supporting team members; technicians, board layout engineers, and subcontract manufacturing
* Fluent in English and another Western European language (German or French preferred)
