Wireless Provider in Frisco, TX is looking for several Deployment Support engineers Description: Required to assist the markets and the vendor as UMTS is deployed in a given market. Job functions include; attending scoping meeting to define the actual UMTS site build for each site. Frequently rescoping is required. Prepare the RFDS (radio frequency data sheet) for each site and ensure that the carrier and the vendor have the most up-to-date copy. Update 2G and 3G inventory in Insite as well as Asset. Go on site walks for any new sites which 2G has brought on air and are being considered for UMTS. Source non-standard antennas for sites which do not conform to the standard build plan. Review sweeps and close out packages of completed UMTS deployment. Required Skills: Need thorough understanding of RF design standards. Need to be able to read sweeps.
